The ACE-1600GK digital speedo is ideal for TaG Karts that carry their own 12V battery. The unit can also be run off its own internal battery if your kart does not use the TaG system.  Great for keeping track of engine hours in between re-builds, recording total running time, session time, max speed, ave speed, max RPM and engine temp on water cooled motors such as the RotaxMAX FR125, Iame RL & X30, PRD Fireball and SQ Cheetah. The 1600GK also features a lap timing function which is ideal for reviewing lap times and improving your driving. The lap timer uses a pick-up which triggers off the magnetic strips that are installed in almost all kart tracks across the country.

Power Consumption:

Replacements batteries are commonly available on Supermarket shelves. Can also be connected to the 12V power supply for karts that have a battery. When using lap timing function 12V power is recommended as power drain increases.

Easy Installation
The Acewell speed pickup uses a reed switch and magnet. Both are included in the kit and are very easy to install universally to suit your personal kart set up.
