A Class 1 warning beacon is a highly visible flashing light, typically amber or red, designed to alert people of potentially dangerous situations. It's considered the most powerful warning light and is used for the most hazardous situations, being up to four times brighter than a Class 2 beacon. These beacons are commonly used on vehicles carrying oversized or hazardous loads, as well as in roadwork areas and maintenance/service vehicles.
